Quick review of chisel sharpening basics using water stones 1000/8000 and the WoodPeckers honing guide
Part 2 - Keep flattening your water stones throughout the process. Once primary bevel established from part 1, create a secondary bevel by adjusting honing guide by 2-3 degrees (I used a shim piece). Tighten your guide and then swipe a few times on the 8k grit to create that secondary bevel. You may want to remove any burr from the flat back with 1 swipe on the 8k. Now the chisel is ready to use.
