Overhead Shop Storage
I had a dream, a dream to fill a modest space with tools. Tools for woodworking. To do the thing that brings me, like many others, joy and joy beyond measure. Joy and peace. So I pursued that desire and worked to fill that shop with the tools (never ends btw) i could use to build. Build anything that my mind could imagine and especially those things that would bring a smile to someone's face. Everyone should be able to smile at least once in a while and perhaps daily, wouldn't that be wonderful if everyone had a reason to smile and chose to smile. We are drawn to giving and the feeling we get when we give to others.
In your humble spaces, you are building too, you are creating and imagining. A home, maybe a shop of your own. You may be collecting tools for gardening or for lawn upkeep or you may love cars, you may be accumulating a magnificent array of tools to rebuild your dream car. I don't know, your space may house one of the neighborhood golf carts (seems to be a thing now).
Whatever situation you are in, In the midst of our dreams, our desires to have a functional space, we face an all too common universal byproduct.... Junk....clutter. The inevitable chaos that is the result of pursuing our dream in our humble space called the garage, the workshop, the work space, whatever your space is that inspires your work to create your dream. In the midst of this intended chaos comes the need to organize and continually put our space back in order.
Well... I partially solved my problem with clutter by stumbling across this rack by Fleximounts. This video is my experience with the solution and a quick overview of the installation.
