Alright, so when you are doing Raids you will encounter Buddy and Lucy which is the third boss. They will be in an area with two opposing shops, there will plenty of cover in and outside of these shops which is really useful since Lucy has one shot turret that will spin 360 degree and kill everything with one shot that comes in its way. Buddy, on the other hand is a healing dog which continuously heals itself.
In the centre, you will see two laptops and a screen with a countdown timer. The bosses will share an Overcharge window that changes continuously. The critical part of the whole encounter is to keep your damage in such synchronisations that health bars of both dogs remain in this windowed box. As soon as one jumps another, both dogs will run into the middle and heal themselves to full health bars unless someone cancels that overcharge by operating the laptop.
A solid strategy to do this mission is to have 5 players focusing on Buddy, as he can heal, and 3 players focusing on Lucy as she has DPS. When Lucy does 360 degree fire, you can still hip-fire hire from the cover. However, someone needs to say out loud 360 to make everyone aware so that all players take cover. Buddy will also send out Seeker mines during Lucy’s mini-gun attack that will knock everyone out of cover. Watch this particularly nasty attack, but most importantly, do not let the Double Dogs get their Overcharge.
When so much is going on it is really important to have good coordination between both teams for this encounter and everyone should be using headphones and mics.
You can also kite these two dogs into different room as they follow players which can be seen with the help of a red eye. My suggestion is to keep Lucy around the left and Buddy around the right so that you don’t have to deal with both of them at the same time.
In order to succeed, you need to make sure that their HP stays close enough to stay inside the Overcharge window. As their health bar goes down, the width of the Overcharge Window will shrink which makes it more challenging to maintain. You need to coordinate attack and focus on dealing near-equal amounts of damage to both of the dogs.
So this was the one method of doing this mission. There is another way of doing this mission. It needs less coordination, but you need tankier builds. In this method you need to keep an eye on this countdown monitor. When you initiate this mission there will be 6min 30 seconds countdown on this monitor.
All you need to do during this time is to just run around and pretty much do nothing. When you see that there are only two minutes left to the timer, start playing this mission as normal and try to bring health of both dogs down to half. Once the timer runs out, Lucy will not overcharge regardless of the health bar difference. However, both dogs will become extremely strong. You can kill them one by one. My suggestion is to kill Lucy first and then kill Buddy. Use this method only if you’re really struggling to kill them by the first method.
That’s it for this video, let me know in the comments section which method worked for you. Once again, if you like this video a like and subscribe will be super appreciated until I see you next time.
