5 Most Important Things That Are Different In Division 2

1. Movement:

This is one of the biggest and most obvious additions. Unlike division 1, where you can dodge the bulle by strafing at higher speed, popping med kits on the go and reloading, UBI Soft has completely reworked movement in Division 2 and strafing is no more possible. As a principle, UBI-Soft is implementing a system where any action taken by the player will lead to decrease in its movement.
For example; if you’re sprinting and reloading, your sprinting speed will go down. If you’re deploying a skill while sprinting, your sprinting will slow down etc.

2. Skills:

Unlike Division 1 where most of our skills used to auto-aim, Division 2 has changed this to more interactive manual aiming. What it means is that you need to deploy your skill and then aim at the enemy where you want your skill to hit. For instance, look at this example;

3. Specialisations:

This is one of the biggest and most obvious additions. Upon reaching the level cap in The Division 2, you’ll have access to three new progression trees as part of the new Specialisation system. Survivalist, Sharpshooter, and Demolitionist are your options, with each offering a signature weapon and unlocking a set of unique skills and mods.

You’re also not locked into one Specialisation after choosing it, you can swap between them and level each of them up if you want. Some of your existing skills will complement what each Specialisation brings, so it’d be a good idea to spec in certain ways.

4. An Actual Cover Based Shooter:

With TTK being so low, Div2 will actually become a true cover based shooter with an emphasis on more tactical gameplay rather than mad-chicken-dancing. In my opinion, Snip will become the king of this game since they offer higher damage over longer range to stationary targets. We will see how this pans out.

5. Health Under Armour

UBISoft has completely reworked the health system. There are no more burst heals and you get armour on top of your health bar. Once destroyed, an armour can be replaced with an armour kit but that takes bloody 3 seconds animation and you are completely stopped from doing anything else during that animation. This all translates into how UBI soft is pushing Division players to play more tactically rather than stupidly running into enemy’s face.
Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumours of a coup in the Capitol are only amplifying the chaos. All active Division agents are desperately needed to save the city before it's too late.
