Second Method when Backing Up in VMware Environment:
Put backup agent on the ESX Service Console.
Simple approach:
1. Power down Virtual Machines.
2. Backup the full VMDK files.
3. Restores quite easily
Disadvantages:
1. Most cannot afford to power down Virtual Machines in production environment
2. Not a solution for majority of users out there.
3. Must backup full VMDK each time
4. Cannot perform incremental backups
5. Consumes more disk and tape space
