Karelian Pies in Helsinki
The Karelian pie, or pasty, is a beloved dish with roots in the namesake region of Finland. It's enjoyed from Russia to Estonia and Finland, and few bakeries make them better than Kontieria Hopia in Helsinki. I had a chance to see how all three varieties are made.
