🚆 Train Trip from Nice to Cannes
The train trip from Nice to Cannes takes about 40 minutes and covers one of the most beautiful stretches of the French Riviera. The coastline offers incredible views of the Mediterranean and connects the main cities of the Côte d'Azur.
Gare de Cannes, the city's main station, welcomes thousands of tourists daily and is well located, close to the center and the main tourist attractions. Ideal for a practical and hassle-free day trip.
🎬 Palace of Festivals and Congresses (Palais des Festivals et des Congrès)
Built in 1982, the Palais des Festivals is the heart of the famous Cannes Film Festival, held annually since 1946. The event attracts the world's biggest celebrities and transforms the city into a stage for glamour and cinema.
The venue is known for its iconic red carpet staircase, where visitors can climb and take photos like true stars. In addition to the festival, the building also hosts international trade fairs, business events, and conferences.
🌴 Boulevard de la Croisette
La Croisette is Cannes's most famous avenue, bordering the beach and lined with palm trees, luxurious hotels, and designer boutiques. It stretches for 2 km and offers stunning views of the sea and the bay.
The avenue's origins date back to the 19th century, when Cannes began to become an elite destination. Today, it's synonymous with elegance and one of the most photographed places in France. Just strolling around is a way to experience the sophisticated atmosphere of the French Riviera.
🏖️ Cannes Beach (Plages de Cannes)

Much more than just a shopping spot, the market is a meeting point for locals and tourists. There, you can experience the true spirit of the south of France, with vibrant colors, unique aromas, and the relaxed pace of local life.
🏛️ Le Suquet – Cannes Old Town
Le Suquet is the oldest neighborhood in Cannes. Climbing its cobblestone streets, you'll find medieval buildings, colorful houses, charming restaurants, and incredible panoramic views of the city and the sea.
The hill is also home to the Notre-Dame d'Espérance Church and the ruins of the old medieval castle. This area is perfect for those looking to understand the city's origins before the era of festivals and luxury.
🚉 Train to Toulon
We ended our day by taking the train to Toulon, feeling like we had explored the best of Cannes: its elegance, history, and seaside vibe. A short but memorable trip to the French Riviera.
