although im essentially on a hiatus from gd for a few months, i wanted to beat this since i had a lot of progress on it over the past year or so. i havent had much fun with extremes lately, and this is my hardest completion since august of last year, so i didn't expect it to be a very enjoyable experience, but honestly it was really fun. ship/wave aren't my strong suits and they were certainly difficult, but they got pretty consistent. this level had a strange tendency to feel impossible one minute, and then 5 minutes later im able to do 39-100 with ease, and then it goes back to feeling impossible.
of course i had my typical luck of fluking almost the entire level just to die right at the end, but i still beat it really quick. the balancing was surprisingly helpful in my favor, since i usually have bad nerves, but getting past 40% in this level is such a common occurrence i didn't really get any.
oh yeah and 150,000 stars! this was long overdue since 140k was back in november. even though i'm slowing down as of late, this is one of my biggest milestones for sure and it means a lot to me. ok i guess thats it, time to go back to not playing the game for 11 months (just kidding i still play it pretty often)
