i'll let my messages from right after i beat it explain my experience with the level:
so that came out of nowhere... i wasnt even consistent and then just randomly i was at 90%, i spaced out for almost the entire attempt lmao. this doesnt feel real, like i dont even feel happy beating it because its taken me so long that my brain cant acknowledge the fact that its finally over LOL. and somehow only 8k attempts but i guess a lot of the attempts were over a minute long.
i thought i'd feel happier but literally i was at 90% and i was like "wait oh crap i forgot im playing the level lol" and then i just did the final clicks and that was that. thats probably the only reason i was able to beat it was because i spaced out, so i barely had any nerves and i just let my muscle memory do the click pattern.
unironically it felt like a hardest at some times cuz of how long it took me lol, i do definitely think its underrated and probably harder than phobos, so my 3rd hardest i think.
ok now current self, uhh i honestly don't know what to think of this level. it was a pretty painful and stressful year-and-a-half journey (on and off). the gameplay is like kinda fun and satisfying but after playing it for so long i just found so many bugs and it started to become annoying and painful to play. not to mention the hardest part by far is the last 20%, which is really bad for me considering my terrible nerves. i ended up dying past 80% 13 times. the song is a redeeming factor tho lol, i love touhou music. anyway, the reason this took me 1.5 years is because i dreaded playing it due to the bugginess, balancing, and XL length, but i finally pushed through. and it's over now so yay :)
