Salesforce is a top-notch CRM and sales pipeline management system. But your development team might prefer a project management tool like JIRA to deal with issues that may come up. But, don’t fret. You can take the help of Automate.io to automatically send your Salesforce cases to JIRA as issues.

Automate.io is a simple, no-code workflow automation tool that connects your favorite web apps and automates your tedious manual work so you can spend your time working on things that matter to you.

To begin, visit the page above, click on the use case box and then the Get Started button.

You will see the ‘Add Accounts’ screen. Here you will connect your JIRA & Salesforce accounts to Automate.io.

Now, let’s enter our account credentials. We never take chances with your data. We always keep it secure with bank-level encryption.

Alright! Our apps are connected. Time to build our automation, also called a Bot.

First, let’s talk about Salesforce. It is our trigger app, which starts our Bot. This Bot triggers every time there is a new case in Salesforce. By the way, when you click this dropdown, you can see that you can do all sorts of other things with Salesforce. So, do check them out.

And, let’s move to JIRA. It’s the action app that performs our desired action. Here, it is to add an issue to JIRA. While we’re on that topic, if you want to perform a different action in JIRA you can try these options in the dropdown.

Now it's time to drag and drop the issue data we want from Salesforce.

We’ve now set up our bot. Click Next. And test it out. Now, come back to your Automate.io dashboard. Everything seems fine.

Let’s check our JIRA account. There you go! From now on, every new case in Salesforce will be automatically turned into an issue in JIRA.

And remember, we’re available 24x5 on our in-app chat or email us at [email protected]. Don’t forget to subscribe to us.
