Value Investing: How I Screen For Value Stocks
This is one of the strategies I use to screen for value stocks. I start by limiting my screen to Canadian and US stock exchange limited companies. I then also eliminate certain sectors (energy, basic materials, healthcare). I apply certain filters for PE5 and ROCE 5y M, and 3y vs 7y Median. Then I go down the list one by one, like Warren Buffett, and see if there is anything that interests me. I look at about 3 companies per minute, or about 180 per hour.
