3 Marginal Distribution
Method A for constructing a multivariate probability distribution using metalogs requires an unconditional metalog distribution (over shot direction in this case) as a first step. We provide a brief introduction to metalog distributions and develop a simple equation for the metalog distribution over directional dispersion pattern for a good golfer on the 160 yard tee shot on the 4th hole at Stanford University Golf Course.
