5 Best Aimpoint
For a good golfer, what is the best aimpoint for the center of one's shot pattern when the hole is on the front right of the green on the 4th hole at Stanford? Applying the joint shot-pattern distribution over direction and distance, we identify the best aimpoint and the expected strokes saved compared to alternatives. We also show that, for 2/3 of the webinar participants, the best aimpoint differs significantly from the choice that they would have made by intuition alone
