Griddle Stitch Tutorial
Sometimes you will see the Griddle Stitch called the Lemon Peel Stitch.
This is a very easy crochet stitch to learn and it is perfect for those of you who are just starting to crochet. The entire stitch pattern is worked using just 2 stitches; the single crochet (SC) and double crochet (DC) stitches. US Crochet Terms (in UK it would be DC and TR).

For the sample I am beginning with a chain of 20. You can make your project to whatever width you'd like by chaining a multiple of 2 chains.
If you are adding this to a project midway through, you need an odd number of stitches to work across.
The pattern repeat works up over a repeat of just 2 rows.
My supplies: King Cole Recycled Dishcloth Cotton (supplied by King Cole Yarn) and a 5 mm (H) Clover Crochet Hook (I bought it on Amazon).
