For the sample I am beginning with a chain of 19. You can make your project to whatever width you'd like by chaining a multiple of 2 chains and then adding 1 extra chain before you begin working back across the foundation chain.
If you are adding this to a project midway through, you need an even number of stitches to work across.
My supplies: Red Heart Super Saver Ombre (supplied by Yarnspirations) and a 6 mm (J) Clover Crochet Hook (I bought it on Amazon) for the video tutorial.
To make the Baby Bean Stitch Scarf (5.5 inches wide X 76 inches long) you will begin with a starting chain of 19 and work 138 rows.
