Power BI Report with a Sentiment Tornado chart
Introducing the Sentiment Tornado, a novel data visualization that creatively maps out sentiments across various topics. This visualization resembles a tornado, crafted with five continuous wind lines, each representing a unique question related to specific sentiment evaluations ranging.
The design of the Sentiment Tornado is intuitive—each wind line strengthens or weakens the overall structure of the tornado, depending on the sentiment scores. Scores above 50 empower the tornado, depicting strong, forceful winds, while scores below 50 reduce the wind lines to half strength, visually demonstrating the tornado losing its intensity.
This dynamic representation serves as a metaphor for the impact of collective sentiments on a given topic. The visualization allows viewers to instantly grasp the overall emotional climate related to the subjects at hand—be it customer satisfaction, employee morale, or public opinion on social issues.
Do you really believe this story? I tried some experiment with conditional SVG/Base64 stuff and also measure driven filter situations.
