If I'm going to discuss healthy relationships with you, I also need to talk about healthy break-ups. Going through a break-up can be extremely painful and heartbreaking.
There is absolutely a grief process that goes with a break-up, which can cause someone to experience a wide variety of emotions (sadness, anger, denial, etc).

So many people jump from one relationship to another without having taken the proper time to heal from the previous break up. I think jumping from relationship to relationship so quickly can actually be a disservice to you.
This is because there is so much healing and learning that can and should happen after a break up, and when you jump immediately into another one, you are avoiding those learning moments.
