We had some things to take care of last week and couldn't make some of these videos public, so you guys and gals get two weeks worth of videos instead of one! Yay!

Classic Taito puzzle action, but this time using the license of the popular "Azumanga Daioh" by Kiyohiko Azuma and MediaWorks with development assisted by Moss. I don't think I need to go into much detail on this one. Just match balls of the same color. Is it as easy as it seems? Not exactly, once the special objects come into play, but it's lots of fun. Also known outside Japan as "Bust-A-Move", this version of the popular action/puzzle franchise was released in 2002 for Sega's Naomi Arcade System.

The game has a few novel differences from your average BAM/PB game. For one, you can unlock various photos of the Azumanga characters (known as "Bonus Pin-Ups") in the single player mode by eliminating large chunks of drops which will fill up the game's picture gauge. Rather than simply offering a random picture after filling the gauge, the game instead makes you play a Challenge Stage where you need to clear it while adhering to certain rules. If you're successful, then... a winner is you! The game also features less Vs. characters than the typical BAM/PB game weighing in at six main characters and a boss (Yukari-sensei). There is also a bonus point system tied to the ball drop system which increases based on how many different colors you remove with a modifier up to seven. If you're quick, you can use multiple eliminations to extend your drop chain for more points.

Outside of that, it's not anything you haven't seen before in the BAM/PB series. The visuals are perhaps behind some of the other games such as BAM99 and BAM4 in terms of animation but it's clean all around with nice-res backdrops and illustrations and the music has a nice Azumanga flair but will also feel familiar to BAM/PB fans. This is a simple video of the game in action showing both main modes and the how-to-play attraction. Enjoy.
