Two weeks on the Sea, Atlantic Ocean and North Sea, both rough, storms and waves. But now we arrived the mouth of the Elbe river. The East Frisian Islands and Wadden Sea to our right we finally see land again! Now we start the 6 hour trip up the Elbe river. It is fascinating and we are all happy to get onshore soon and enjoy the first night on land since 2 weeks.
Sun is setting for a scenic sunset and a cinematic harbour entrance in the iconic Hamburg harbour. Even for sailors this is a special day!
Episode VI of this series is sadly the last episode about our arrival and harbour entrance in Hamburg (Germany) with the Research Vessel Meteor.
