आज की तारीख है 28 नवंबर 2024. आज झारखंड के इतिहास के साथ –साथ हेमंत सोरेन के लिए भई बड़ा और ऐतिहासिक दिन है. झारखंड को अपना 14वां मुख्यमंत्री मिला. हेमंत सोरेन चौथी बार झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ ले चुके हैं.
हेमंत सोरेन पहली बार लगभग 11 साल पहले 13 जुलाई 2013 को पहली बार मुख्यमंत्री बने थे. इसके बाद उन्होंने 29 दिसंबर 2019 को दूसरी बार सीएम पद की शपथ ली. फिर 4 जुलाई 2024 को तीसरी बार राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री बने. अब चौथे कार्यकाल के तौर पर उन्होंने 28 नवंबर 2024 को शपथ ली है.

यह बात लगभग 15 साल पुरानी है. साल 2009 में झारखंड में विधानसभा का चुनाव हुआ. 23 दिसंबर 2009 को नतीजे घोषित किए गए. झामुमो और भाजपा को 18-18 सीटें मिली,वहीं कांग्रेस को 14 और आजसू को 5 सीटों पर जीत हासिल हुई. किसी भी पार्टी के पास सरकार बनाने लायक बहुमत नहीं था. नतीजा! झारखंड में जोड़ तोड़ की सरकार बनानी पड़ी. बहुत गुणा भाग करने के बाद आजसू के सहयोग से राज्य में 30 दिसंबर 2009 को भाजपा-झामुमो की सरकार बनी. तब झामुमो सुप्रीमो शिबू सोरेन लोकसभा के सांसद थे, फिर भी उन्होंने सीएम के तौर पर झारखंड की बागडोर संभाली.

This thing is about 15 years old. Assembly elections were held in Jharkhand in the year 2009. The results were declared on 23 December 2009. JMM and BJP got 18 seats each, while Congress won 14 and AJSU won 5 seats. No party had the majority to form the government. Result! A government had to be formed in Jharkhand through manipulation. After a lot of calculations, BJP-JMM government was formed in the state on 30 December 2009 with the support of AJSU. Then JMM supremo Shibu Soren was a Lok Sabha MP, yet he took over the reins of Jharkhand as CM.
The government was running in Jharkhand. Shibu had to contest the assembly elections from some seat. Meanwhile, Shibu voted for the UPA during the cut motion in the Lok Sabha. BJP, the ally of Shibu government in Jharkhand, did not like this decision of Shibu Soren and BJP withdrew support from the government.After which, President's rule was imposed in Jharkhand once again on 1 June 2010. After 3 months, BJP and JMM came together again.
However, this time the government was formed on one condition. According to JMM, the government was formed on the condition of the CM being elected on rotation basis for 28 months each. That means for about two and a half years, the CM will be from BJP and for the next two and a half years, the CM will be from JMM. On this condition, BJP got the chance first. On 11 September 2010, Arjun Munda became the eighth CM of the state. Then when JMM's turn came, JMM toppled the government accusing BJP of refusing to transfer power.
Then, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Hemant Soren while talking to the media had said that - 'We have decided to withdraw support from the government.'
