Here is a simple instant plum cake recipe 😋
Ingredients :-
For soaking :
Orange juice - 1/2 - 1 cup
Orange zest- 1tsp (without white part)
Raisins (black & golden)
Dates
Tutti frutti
(you can use any dry fruits of your choice & in quantity)
For Caramel syrup:
Sugar-1/4 cup
Hot water - 3-4 tbsp
To make fine powder:
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cinnamon- 1/2 inch piece
Clove - 1
Cardamom - 1 (peeled)
Nutmeg (grated) - a pinch
Maida/all purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking powder - 3/4 tsp
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Cocoa powder(optional) - 1tsp (for a colour)
Eggs - 3 small
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Oil or butter - 1/4 cup
Maida - 1 tbsp - to coat dry fruits
Cashew nuts & Almonds - as required (any nuts of your choice)
