Tagging files allows you to organize them by category (e.g., Work, Personal), making it easier to find specific files. To tag files in macOS:

1. In Finder, select one or more files.
2. Right-click the file(s).
3. Select a tag.

In step 3, you can instead click Tags... to see all tags, add multiple tags, and create new tags.

To view tagged files, select that tag from Finder's sidebar.
