I've long been enchanted by the dark and mysterious lakes in Wales and the ancient legends accompanying them and felt compelled to make a film about one of my favourite stories. The film blurs the line between past and present intertwining the ancient tale with modern life. The story needed to be told in the original language of the land that the story belongs to, and in an evocative way that only an experienced storyteller can do, so a huge thank you to my friend Gwyn Edwards for telling the story so enchantingly.
