Zbrush - Haircard fail
I thought I'd be clever and try to use zbrush to place hair cards.. does anyone do this?

It seems to be not so good because Zbrush is unifying the UVs to 0-1 space each time I move the flattened version (which I guess are not true UVs just some representation and getting normalised). I try various workarounds... Please just know that this method is now tried and tested in my opinion and not the best way to make hairs using haircards or hairstrips method but I thought I'd try!
If you do decide a method like this, just premake the hair strips and UVs however it gets messy when you will have so many!
