Sevens Don't Have Synergies On Gold Stakes: Erratic Deck! Balatro Run #34
VOD of me beating Gold Stakes difficulty with the Erratic Deck! The various stakes in Balatro add numerous challenging effects that drastically reduce your consistency in putting together a stacked deck and increase your scoring requirements. With the Erratic Deck, every single card's Rank and Suit is random, so sometimes you get a large amount of a single Rank or suit. In this case, our starting deck has ten 7's, which don't actually have any Jokers that synergise with them for some reason? Anyway, we put together a decent run with a Negative Half Joker and The Trio as we can very consistently make Three Of A Kinds (and higher later on). Hanging Chad is the necessary source of retriggers here and lets us get the win with Glass Cards and a Blueprint. I can imagine trying to win-streak with this deck being an absolute nightmare...
