• Darshan Goswami has over 40 years of experience in the energy field.
• He has worked on SMART GRID and RENEWABLE ENERGY deployment for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) as a Project Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. (2007-2015)
• He retired as Chief of Energy Forecasting and Renewable Energy from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Washington, DC (2002-2007).
• Earlier, he worked for 30 years at Duquesne Light Company, an electric utility company in Pittsburgh, PA, USA (1970-2000).
• He has worked on Renewable Energy for over 20 years. He has a passion and commitment to promote, develop and deploy Renewable/Green Energy and the Hydrogen Economy.
• Mr. Goswami has published over 25 papers on India’s Energy needs since 1992.
• He has also published numerous papers on Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Economy in USA (all the published papers are online).
• He was a member of Interagency Hydrogen Research & Development Task Force Team under President Bush's for initiative on the development of Hydrogen as the fuel source of the future. He was responsible for preparing and publishing a strategic plan for "How to Eliminate America's Addiction to Oil."
• He has prepared and presented “Renewable Energy Solutions for India – A Strategic Development Plan” to the Government and Industry leaders in October 2011 in New Delhi, India and to the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in May 2012 in Fairfax, VA, USA.
• Mr. Goswami is actively engaged in volunteer work. He is Founder of a non-profit organization “India Foundation For Children Education and Care.” India Foundation works with “Astha Vikas Samiti” in Rajasthan to educate the underprivileged and poor children (provide scholarships to over 50 children) and elevate the standard of living of poor women through empowerment in India. India Foundation also supports Atma Jyoti Gwalior Blind Girl School (55 Blind Girls).
