Guest Speaker - Dr. Debi Prosad Dogra
Short Bio - Dr. Debi Prosad Dogra is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar, India. Dr. Dogra obtained his Ph.D. degree from IIT Kharagpur in 2012, M.Tech from IIT Kanpur in 2003, and B.Tech. in 2001 from HIT Haldia all in Computer Sc. & Engineering. Prior to joining IIT Bhubaneswar, Dr. Dogra was with the Advanced Technology Group, Samsung Research Institute, Noida (2011-2013), worked with ETRI, South Korea (2006-2007), and worked with HIT Haldia as a faculty member (2003-2006). Dr. Dogra has published more than 100 research papers in various international conferences and journals. His research interests include visual surveillance, intelligent transportation systems, augmented reality, human-computer interface, and sensor guided healthcare systems. He is a member of IEEE, an Associate Editor of SNCS, and a Regional Editor of JMIS.
