Turtle’s video: • Best Weekend of my life~(ft.SassyCat143)
Her awesome channel: / @whattheplushi3
WE MET! Only took like…two years… Best weekend ever, though!
Oh gosh, I don’t even know how much raw footage there was, but I can tell you it was over an hour and half. We had so much fun, and I can’t wait until the day we can do it all again! Turtle, it has to be soon. I think we just found out we were soul sisters, I mean, considering we talked until like 4am I think shows something…
Alright, so…I have a story to tell…this video was a royal pain. Not editing wise, but rendering. See, I ran into a few bugs while editing, so I downloaded some patches to fix the issues (spoilers, they didn’t work) and it somehow broke the rendering. It failed every time. I reinstalled the editor to get rid of the patches, then it wouldn’t open. So I reinstalled it again, still didn’t open, so I had to install one of the patches to get it to open. After I got it open, I tried opening the project and…nothing happened. Tried again, same response. I figured I’d restart the editor, and thank god when I did Corel popped up with little notification for a patch and literally the first thing on it was “fixes project opening glitch”. All good, right? Nope. Rendering still failed. I tried a different setting, so fun fact, this isn’t true 60 FPS, it’s 59.94 FPS, that was the best I could do. It got the video done so I’m not going to complain. It also cut down on file size by a gigabyte, so….yay?
There’s your little fill of storytime. Moral: never buy Corel.
