Learn how to find the distance between two points using the distance formula or Pythagoras Theorem Equation.
If given the coordinate of two points, they can be substituted into the coordinate geometry distance formula.
If given a graph with the line plotted then the distance can be found by constructing a right angled triangle with the line as the hypotenuse. The side lengths can be substituted into Pythagoras equation to find the distance.
The distance between two points is also the length of the line segment between the two points.
