Atari 2600 Video Chess (black) vs Stockfish (white) - full game
Another video of Atari 2600 Video Chess playing Stockfish.
Terminal output is a little clearer. Stockfish messages in blue and messages from the bot are in white.
I've also sped up the bot a little. I don't think I can speed it up any further because of the way Video Chess works. I'll continue experimenting though.
To clarify what the bot is doing:
1) It waits for Video Chess to initialise
2) Asks Stockfish for a move from the current position
3) Moves the "joystick" so that the correct piece is moved
4) Waits for Video Chess to finish thinking
5) "Looks" for the piece that has moved
6) Back to 2
