Gopher2600 - experimental cartridge shim
This video shows an experimental cartridge shim - a device that allows a real Atari 2600 cartridge to be attached to the PC and to be read by Gopher2600. The operation is very simple but there is a significant bottleneck caused by the very slow speed of the serial line.
None-the-less, it works. The video only shows the startup process of the ROM - the title screen does eventually appear, I promise :-)
This is an interesting project and I'll be continuing with it I think.
