In this video we start with a problem where we want to find the area of a circular sector. Then we derive the formula for the area of a circular sector (also called circle sector, or just sector). We show that a circular sector has the same area as the particular rectangle. The formula we get shows what is the connection between the area, radius and arc length of a circular sector. In the end, we use that formula to solve our initial problem.
