Exploring London's Christmas Markets 2025
London transforms into full Christmas mode from mid-November, and this year I set out early to see just how magical (or chaotic) the markets really are. In this video, I take you across the city on a festive route that mixes the iconic, the crowded, the random… and the unexpectedly charming.
I started at the Southbank Winter Market, then made my way up to Trafalgar Square, where the stalls are already open even if the big Christmas tree hasn’t arrived yet. From there, I headed into the organised madness of Leicester Square Christmas Market.
On the way, I randomly stumbled across a small festive setup at Hays Galleria, which I didn’t even know had a market this early.
Then I continued to Christmas by the River near Tower Bridge - which honestly felt a bit disappointing this year. But just across the bridge on the north side, I ended the day at a beautifully atmospheric little gem: The Victorian Christmas Market. It genuinely felt like stepping into a tiny pocket of Tudor-style London.
