Lisbon Is More Than Pickpockets & Scams
After seeing a wave of videos online focusing on one very specific side of Portugal’s capital, I wanted to spend a day in the city and experience it for myself.
From walking through the historic streets of Alfama and riding Lisbon’s iconic trams, to taking in the views from Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Praça do Comércio, this video captures some of the city’s most well-known spots and the atmosphere around them.
No city is perfect. Some areas feel very different at night, Rua Augusta included but that doesn’t define Lisbon as a whole.
I also couldn’t come to Lisbon without trying the world-famous Pastéis de Belém, before ending the day with incredible views from Cristo Rei.
If you take the time to explore and stay curious, Lisbon has far more to offer than a few clips online might suggest.
