USW PhD Wellbeing | I like to push myself
Chris Evered is an Electronic Engineering PhD student at University of South Wales, USW. His research, 'Study of a low cost robust external-cavity-based speckle-free laser' is funded by the KESS scheme and conducted in partnership with Global Lasers. It is developing a product that will improve the quality of images captured by scientific cameras primarily in the manufacturing sector, but in other industrial environments too, leading to more accurate 2D and 3D reconstructions of objects and surfaces.
