MakerBot Replicator 2 PrintHead Replacement
In this video I'm replacing the MakerBot Replicator 2 printhead that was defective. Defective extruder that obliged me to maintain it all the time. Defective insulation tape around the thermal core that was burnt and evaporated and some places, what produced excessive heat in the nozzle. Defective nozzle that was clogged and that also produced abnormal PLA leakings and small random blobs during printings. Fragile left cooler cables that were disconnected. Wow. Well in a few minutes I show you everything I had to do to make this pretty looking 3d printer finally work AS IT SHOULD HAVE WORKED OUT OF THE BOX... In the end, after one month of f#cked up printings, I just start to hope that this device could maybe one day work like I expected...
