YD 719C Quadcopter Drone - First Fly (Without French Comments)
This is my very first video tests with my new YD - 719C Quadcopter ; the quad is indeed auto-calibrating itself, it is easy to stabilize it at first, the 640x480 camera takes decent lowres videos, if you've got luminosity enough. The quad is eye candy with its multi-color sparkling led lights. It's also quite solid, I've crashed it a lot of times and it falled like a stone from 50meters in my garden without any serious damage. It can move at a decent speed, however, the blades and the motors don't have power enough to deal efficiently with too high speeds ; and the overall reactivity of the quad is somehow very slow. Something makes me think that the integrated stabilizer can't be bypassed and reduces too much the possibility to perform some quick breaks ; it's also a a 109 gr. device, much heavy, with an average set of motors powered by a S1 3.7 only 380mA LiPo battery - it should have used something more powerfull for this size. In the end this quad is fun, but not powerfull enough for nervous flights and precise acrobatics. So it's perfect for playing with in in a very large environement, and for taking little 360° footages from very high points of views, but NOT suited at all for indoor gameplay.
