Welcome to the third episode of the road trip in Auvergne, the third month of my series "12 Months / 12 Regions of France in a Van."
In this episode, the adventure takes a more unexpected and human turn.
We begin the day with an immersive hike in the Chaudefour Valley, a wild and impressive place. After a few kilometers, we discover the Grande Cascade, nestled at the bottom of a volcanic gorge.
But on the way back, everything changes: a motorcyclist has had an accident, and we stop to help him. A powerful moment, a reminder that vanlife is also about the unexpected, real encounters, and challenges to overcome together.
We then hit the road again towards Lake Pavin, one of the most beautiful volcanic lakes in Auvergne.
