In trouble at Puy de Dôme, wild bivouac in a van and FPV drone
Hello everyone! Here we go for the second episode of my road trip to Auvergne, the third region in my "12 Months / 12 Regions of France in a Van" series.
Still aboard my trusty converted Volkswagen Transporter T4, I continue this solo adventure with my four-legged companion, in search of freedom, wild nature, and incredible spots.
In this episode, we gently leave the quiet roads to tackle one of the most beautiful and intense parts of this trip.
🗺️ On the itinerary for this road trip:
🌋 Wake up at the foot of the Puy de Dôme, alone in the world in a magnificent setting
🥵 Climb Puy Pariou, then Puy de Dôme on foot via the Muletiers' Path – it was tough, but the view was worth it
🏕️ Wild bivouac at Lac de Guéry, facing the mountains
💧 Refreshing break at the Cascade des Mortes, hidden in the heart of the forest
🚁 FPV drone session at Roche Sanadoire, a unique moment in a volcanic setting
🌄 End the day at the Col de Cézallier, with a bivouac at the summit and magical light
