The Weirdest Linsanity Run In NFL History | BearsLoseAgain
The term “Linsanity'' was created after NBA player Jeremy Lin became the starting point guard for the New York Knicks and proceeded to have the greatest stretch of his career, where he briefly became a star player after his All NBA teammate Carmelo Anthony went down due to injury in 2012. This 9 game stretch had set Lin up for the remainder of his NBA career, where he remained in the league until 2019 as a successful role player and eventual NBA champion, but never reaching the heights he reached all those years ago. Since this, people have used the term “Linsanity” to describe a player in a sport who had a short run of brilliance before crashing back down to earth. This has been the case in the NBA since, there have been cases in the MLB, and there have certainly been cases in the NFL, one of which we will be covering in today’s video.
