This Blue Edwards dunk has been lost in time. NBA TV reruns of the 1991 Slam Dunk Contest skip over the second round attempts for Edwards, Otis Smith, Kendall Gill, and Kenny Williams, so an original broadcast was just about our only hope at unearthing these dunks. Compounding matters, the dunk in question also lacks a traditional free throw line viewpoint, making it difficult to discern exactly how close Edwards actually came from getting at least a heel on the line. At 6-foot-4, Edwards is among the shortest players in NBA history to take off from near the line.
Edwards received a 44.2 for his attempt, ultimately finishing sixth (of eight).
