Richmond Virginia Skyline sunset from the James River
Welcome back! I am James Loving and In Episode 5 of my photography adventures, I visit Rocketts Landing in search of new perspectives of the Richmond, Virginia city skyline. It was a beautiful evening; however, the sunset didn’t deliver the colors I was hoping to capture.
See how what camera, settings, and lens I used to capture the picture of the skyline as well as the time-lapse of the sun setting behind the city!
One of the things that I’ve learned is that there is no “perfect” picture and often nature is uncooperative when you and your camera are waiting for a moment. Even though the sunset was a bust I was able to capture the lights from the buildings and some golden hues to create a composite image in photoshop that highlights a view of the Richmond skyline from the James River.
