We are incredibly excited to bring you our new series of animated videos where we answer some of the most commonly asked drone questions in a fun and creative way! Each animation is created by local artists so every week we'll have a new style and new answers for you!
This week we ask "Drones in Real Estate - What to expect from a neighborhood drone video" The short answer is - awesome videos! Take a look at the transcript below to learn the long answer, or watch the video!

"A neighborhood drone shoot should give a buyer the ability to familiarize themselves with the property, the surrounding neighborhood, the proximity of local amenities, and grow a familiarity with their surroundings before ever stepping foot onto the property.
A neighborhood drone shoot is a short video tour of the local neighborhood that can give potential buyers an idea of how close the local restaurants, schools, parks, and attractions are, all while building your reputation and portfolio as a savvy real estate agent. We've even noticed the savviest of our real estate clients reuse neighborhood shots on other listings in the area when possible! Doing these shoots with drones instead of ground photography also cuts down on travel time for the shoot, making it much more affordable!
It doesn't have to be all business though! These types of shoots make it incredibly easy for you to show off your own personality as well - Whether it be through voiceovers describing the area, fun overlaid images and messages, floating text over locations, or anything else you can think of – get creative! Consumers prefer to interact with people that are interesting and approachable, and this gives that voice a chance!
Don't forget though, that these videos should still include the home in question as well! In addition to just showing the neighborhood, you still need to give the buyer a sense of the property! Aerial footage can show you how well the roof was taken care of, what the landscape looks like, how close the neighbors are, how the land is being used, and other indicators of how well kept the property is. Some drone companies even offer thermal shots to check for insulation leaks!
