LEI codes and downloadable PDF report
Hello,
Today I have improved the LEI code database search by correcting the mapping of certain properties and adding the possibility to download a PDF report.
What is the LEI code? It is a code used to validate the identity of companies operating in the financial field or international transactions.
The interesting thing is that it offers the possibility to know shareholders and subsidiaries of a group (as long as they consolidate or have an LEI code).
This code will be more important in the future, so I am making available the possibility to search for companies in the application.
Soon, this weekend, I will extend the search, which is now done by company name, to search by LEI code, for those who having a code want to know which company/group it is.
The PDF report has a timestamp that marks the time of the report download, as well as the source of the information, as always.
I will soon post some tips to explain what the LEI code is and how it works on the web as well.
