One of my FAVORITE overdrives reimagined! | Nordvang Custom Skyline Overdrive & Boost
For years, my favorite overdrive pedal was the PaulC Timmy - a trail blazer in the trend of "transparent" overdrives. Timmy just worked with nearly anything you put around it at making your sound better and more without obscuring or adulterating it. The Nordvang Custom Skyline follows beautifully in its footsteps with a reimagined take on this low-gain overdrive circuit and I am absolutely LOVING it.
With its versatile overdrive circuit and independent clean boost, Skyline delivers a myriad of tones from clean to saturated - with plenty of control. Thanks to a set of internal dip switches you can also fine-tune the top end presence, low-end response, clipping textures, and midrange push of the Nordvang Skyline to produce Tubescreamer type overdrive sounds!
So much to love about this pedal which is quickly becoming a favorite overdrive in my collection.
