Three Former Alpine City Council Members Trying to Remove Current Mayor From His Seat
The political drama in Alpine continues to escalate.
Now, several former city council members are trying to boot the mayor from his seat.
Three former council members have started the process of removing Mayor Avinash Rangra from office.
According to the Big Bend Now, the trio described the current Mayor as somebody with no ethics.
They also said he obstructed efforts to expose financial problems and to fire the employees responsible.
They've filed a petition at city hall which needs 350 signatures.
Once that's done, they can call for a special election to vote him in or out of office.
