Today I’m talking about and drinking the newest rum from Rolling Fork Spirits, their Heart of Gold. The rum is a cocktail focused blend of rums from Barbados and Jamaica. It includes rums from Foursquare Rum Distillery, Worthy Park Estate and Clarendon Distillery.
Since this is a cocktail focused rum, I asked The Rum Champion himself, Bryan Inman, to come over and help me try the rum in three different cocktails to see what kind of drinks it works well in and which ones to avoid. We're drinking daiquiris, mai tais and rum old fashioneds.
