Using AI Tools as a Woman
PSA for the girlies... You need to be using AI tools for two VERY good reasons that you may not have considered before:
NUMBER 1️⃣ using AI tools can actually decrease the gender pay gap!
Using AI tools can boost your productivity by up to 40%, and men are more likely (as of right now) to use AI tools more often than women.
This can make them efficient enough that they have up to two days of extra work time per week.
They get more done more quickly... be up for more promotions... and up for more pay raises.
Which can INCREASE the gender pay gap when we are trying to DECREASE it.
By using AI tools as a woman, you can also tap into this potential and get paid as much as your male counterparts.
NUMBER 2️⃣ People using these tools are training future models!
If you think AI tools are too masculine or too "bro-y" now and you avoid using them, it's only going to make it worse in the future.
If men are the only ones providing input, and they are the only ones training future models, we won't be represented fairly with these tools in the future.
We need to use them and inject our femininity, our empathy, and our views to help make AI tools more diverse and more in line with the people that need to use them.
