The animation api was introduced in android since its third version, wich give you the possibility to change the object properties in a predefined time interval.
Including animation in your application interface give users a high quality feeling to your products. There is two ways to make animations work in your android project :xml or java code. A lot of animation can be performed in an android application like the fade out /fade in animation or scale , rotatle slide up/down and much more. You can even make a complexe ones based on this animations.
In this example , we will make a zoom in animation by using a xml file, by the end you will learn how to achieve other animation using the same approach. We notice that this animation api can be applied on any java object not only on views.
