In this tutorial, we will learn how to create an Alert Dialog in Android apps.
AlertDialogs are pop ups used to prompt a user about an action to be taken. It can be used to interrupt and ask the user about his/her choice to continue or discontinue. Android AlertDialog is composed of three regions: title, content area and action buttons.
There should be no more than three action buttons in a dialog. This is the android popup dialog example. You can always change the button's label by changing setPositiveButton's first parameter, from “Yes” to whatever characters or label you want.
